I would like to thank everyone who has donated generously towards the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am already 1/4 of the way towards reaching my overall goal of $4,300 and I know that I will reach, and most likely surpass, that goal with your help. Please continue to send our blog and donation links to friends and family and get others involved with these important causes.
I would also like to thank Dan Shipp and the TC Williams Crew team for posting our links on their website and for their support. It helps make the challenge a little easier knowing that you have a whole team behind you.
We are finishing some last minute packing and saying our goodbyes as we get set to head to the west coast on Monday. After a quick night in Seattle we are off and on the road starting our long journey east. The bear spray is packed, the gear is waterproofed (which means we will still get soaked when it rains because thats what happens on a bike), and it's up to the power of the legs to get us home.
Oh, and for those asking, the tandem bike picture...yeah, Jeff just wanted to find a good picture to show the type of unity that we will have on our ride. While I applaud his effort, and agree that we will be pretty close after this trip, I am sad to say that we will not be biking on a tandem bike. Regardless of how cool it looks. Bike pics will be updated as we ride.

Good luck you guys. Love the double dude ride. Also, if you get really ambitious you can stop by Tallahassee on your way over to Maine or something. Take care. The Kennedys
I hope y'all have an iPOD or something....that is long way for Ranger Soule to sing cadences to Matt. Have a good time and watch your six (for vehicles). Good luck.
Jeff, when you get a chance, I'd like to hear about how the race in Montana went. My uncle was horse-back riding up there during that period and said he saw several teams stumble up the steep trail he was on (very exhausted) toward the snowy mountain summit. Several teams stopped and talked to him, but I want to find out if you saw him. Small world, eh? Congratulations on finishing! Talk to you later bud. Toby Powell
