13 days to go. Tickets have been bought, bikes have been boxed up for the flight, gear is lined up and spread across the room (what little of it there is). Our matching customized bike jerseys not only look fashionable, they will also prevent us from becoming seperated along our route. The upper states will have no idea what hit them.

For those who do not know, the Two Blokes on Spokes will start the cross country bike trek July 1. We depart from the Pacific Ocean in Anacortes, Washington and aim our bikes east, setting off for Bar Harbor, Maine. We plan on averaging 90-100 miles a day and anticipate the trip taking between 45-50 days.

Our ride is unsupported. We will carry all of our own gear on our bikes and we will camp out each night along the way. We have packed light and are looking forward to our many buffet stops in random towns from the Pacific to the Atlantic.
